About 8 years ago, Sarah Kennedy (radio and TV presenter) had a campaign to bring back Showboats, and eventually Waitrose Supermarket began selling them. However, somehow, they just did not seem to be the same, and the experiment only lasted months. H and I actually met the grandson of the founder of Kunzle cakes and became very good friends.

(a bit like Chris Evans getting Golden Nuggets back in the market). sadly, they have gone again. Thanks for reminding me of them.
